How a round works
- Pick an ingredient from the tray, or choose Empty. The tray is Ashchip, Reedbind, Slatechip, Tinleaf, Brassdrop, Prismbit, Emberdust, and Kilnclay.
- Place it in a slot. Empty cells are allowed. You need at least one ingredient.
- Check the recipe and read the marks. You have 10 guesses.
- Correct — that ingredient is in the right slot.
- Move — that ingredient is in the recipe, but in a different slot.
- Not needed — that ingredient is not part of this recipe.
Daily is one shared recipe per UTC day and tracks your streak. Unlimited is practice: a new recipe when you want one, and it does not change the streak. Hard mode locks every Correct slot, including a Correct empty slot. The full scoring is on the rules page, including hard mode.
The strategy page covers opening placements, how to read the marks, empty slots, and a worked example. It does not reveal the daily recipe. Past UTC dates are on the archive. Future dates stay closed.
